Our office understands that not everyone can afford or may not actually need the services of an attorney. Very often, when parties are in agreement on all terms or the matter is simple, paperwork can be prepared by a paralegal instead of an attorney.
Paralegal services are available for many types of documents from divorce and custody issues to Quit Claim Deeds. Services start at just $100.00. Our lead paralegal has over ten years of experience and holds a membership with NALA.
We understand that with the Covid-19 (Corona virus), many people have limited funds. If your situation cannot be handled by a paralegal, our attorney is temporarily offering reduced rates for most matters.
As an added bonus, ALL completed documents prepared by the paralegal will be reviewed by a licensed attorney at no additional charge.
If you are interested in retaining the services of one of our experienced paralegals, please contact Dawni at: (702) 909-6523 and ask for paralegal services. She will gladly set an appointment for you to come in and direct you on what paperwork you will need to get started. If your situation is such that an attorney may need to be involved, a consultation with the attorney will be scheduled at no additional charge.
Examples of documents/matters that may* be eligible for paralegal preparation:
- Divorce: contested and uncontested (joint petitions)
- Custody: contested and uncontested
- Supporting documents such as Financial Disclosure Forms (FDF); Affidavits; Affidavits of Resident Witness; Defaults, etc.
- Simple Wills
- Livings Wills
- Durable Power of Attorney (for financial matters if you are incapacitated)
- Temporary Guardianships
- Name Change
- Termination of Parental Rights
- Step-Parent Adoption
- Child Support Recalculation (modification)
- Quit Claim Deeds
- Juvenile Work Permits
- Other miscellanies documents and filings
NOTE: If you schedule a consult with the attorney first, you will be charged an additional fee for meeting with the attorney unless the attorney refers you down to the paralegal. A paralegal is NOT an attorney and CANNOT offer legal advice. Some legal matters may require the assistance of an attorney.
DISCLAIMER: Absolutely NO legal advice will be given by the paralegals in our office. If you require or wish for legal advice, you will need to retain the services of an attorney.
